As part of the international community, the G7 are facing a rising demand for digitalization and environmental action. Both, digitalization and environmental issues, are challenges on a global scale. Since digitalization has the potential to advance the solution of environmental and climate challenges it is important to exchange views on key issues and policy approaches to better harness this potential for environmental protection and climate change mitigation.
On April 6, we brought together stakeholders from civil society, the academic and scientific communities and the private sector to discuss key issues and policy approaches on the Digital-Environment Nexus. Building on the results of this Multi-Stakeholder Conference and to further tap into the insights and findings of our stakeholders we want to promote and deepen this interaction at a follow-up interactive online conference
